Thank you for sharing your day with us! There are a few questions that we ask all of our submitters to answer, but other than that, you can take us through your day however you see fit.
State/Country: Laws vary by location, so it's helpful for readers to know where you are from. If you have a link to applicable homeschooling laws, please feel free to include it.
Children's ages: Tell us who your students are. We need to know at least their ages, but you can include additional information if you want to (name, gender, favorite subject, etc.).
Homeschooling method: Do you use a particular method (Charlotte Mason, Montessori, eclectic, school at home, unschooling, etc.) in your homeschool? Let us know which one(s).
Curriculum: Do you use a curriculum? Tell us which one(s). Include a link if you have it.
Favorite Field Trips: Do you take field trips? Let us know your favorite and each of your kids' favorites as well.
A Day in the Life: This is where you tell us your story. We know that no two days are the same for most homeschooling families. Tell us your story your way. Feel free to include pictures.
Links: Do you have a blog or website? Does your family have a public facebook page? YouTube channel? Twitter? Instagram? This is a place to let our readers find you online if they want to see more about your family's homeschool.
We have provided a form to cut and paste for your submission. E-mail submissions to homeschooladayinthelife@gmail.com. Include the following statement at the top of your e-mail: "I agree to let Homeschool: A Day in the Life post my story on the blog. I understand that there will be no monetary compensation for this submission." We'll let you know we have received it (this is not an automated response, so please be patient), and we'll let you know when your story is going to be posted.
